Last week's big driver updates added support for Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption II on PC but there are still more huge video game launches coming throughout the rest of November. This week, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to PC, in addition to Insomniac's Oculus VR game ‘Stormland', both of which get optimisations in today's GeForce driver update.
There are no specific performance guides from Nvidia for either of these games yet, although the GeForce Experience tool will give you a recommended set of optimal settings for those that don't want to fiddle around in the menu themselves before jumping straight into the action. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to consoles and PC via Origin and Steam, putting you in the shoes of one of the few surviving Jedi after Order 66. There will be several planets to explore, new combat moves and force powers to unlock and some lightsaber customisation options too.
Stormland on the other hand is the latest Oculus VR game from Insomniac Games. While Insomniac is best known for Rachet & Clank and Marvel's Spider-Man, the studio has previously made three excellent VR games for the Oculus Rift, including Edge of Nowhere, Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Stormland now joins that list as an open-world, first person shooter.
Aside from optimisations for both of these games, Nvidia's GeForce Game Readt 441.20 driver also adds support for three new G-Sync Compatible displays, including the ACER XB273U, ACER XV273U and the ASUS VG259Q.
