EKWB launch the EK-Quantum Vector Trio RTX 2080 D-RGB water block

EKWB is expanding its line of D-RGB capable, custom cooling products with more full cover GPU water blocks for specific graphics cards. The EK-Quantum range already covers many of the popular graphics cards available, however, the company has now added another one to its list.

EK water blocks has announced it is launching another new version of its D-RGB addressable EK-Vector GPU water block. This time around the new block is specifically designed for the MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card and will use EK’s signature single-slot design that covers the entire PCB length.

EK claims the Quantum Vector Trio RTX 2080 D-RGB water block is a sophisticated cooling solution that will transform the look of the powerful MSI graphics card into a minimalistic, elegant piece of hardware, with its D-RGB addressable LED lighting accents. Just like other recent D-RGB water blocks from EK, the new design is available in two versions, nickel-plexi and nickel-acetal variants are tailor-made for the MSI Trio 2080 and 2080 Ti.

In addition to the new water blocks, is an upgrade kit for existing EK-Vector Trio RTX full-cover water blocks. Users who already have these solutions from EK can purchase kits to upgrade the existing design to include D-RGB LED lighting. The kits include a stick out piece featuring a standard 3-pin 5V addressable RGB LED lighting strip and new D-RGB terminal cover. The kit offers a quick and simple way to upgrade existing EK-Vector Trio RTX water blocks to the latest addressable 5V D-RGB version.

The new EK-Quantum Vector Trio RTX 2080 D-RGB water block and EK-Quantum Vector Trio RTX 2080 D-RGB Upgrade Kits are available to purchase now through the EK Webshop and via official EKWB retailers across Europe. The RTX 2080 D-RGB starts from €149.90 while the upgrade kits can be purchased starting from €19.90.

KitGuru says: EK’s range of D-RGB enabled products is increasing all the time, it is nice to see the company supporting previous customers too with these low-cost upgrade kits, meaning users won't have to splash out on a new water block to get their hands on the latest EKWB D-RGB lighting technology.
