Colorful may not be the most familiar brand to some, however, the company is expanding its range of hardware regularly and has now announced a new small ATX form factor AMD X570 motherboard, in the form of the CVN X570M Gaming Pro microATX.
The Colorful microATX motherboard provides support for AMD’s 3rd generation of Ryzen processors based on the Zen 2, 7nm microarchitecture. As well as support for previous generations of AMD Ryzen processors, offering users an easy upgrade path in the future. The Colorful CVN X570M Pro Gaming microATX features PCIe 4.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 connectivity, along with 5V ARGB lighting onboard.
Integrated addressable RGB LED lighting can be controlled by iGame Dynamik Light software to provide users with full customisation and synchronisation support. Other features of the CVN X570M Pro Gaming include USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 2.0 and RTL811H Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Along with 8.1 channel HD audio, HDMI / DisplayPort outputs for use with AMD APU’s and a somewhat unusual choice of a PS/2 port for legacy keyboards and mice.
Carrier Vessel Nuclear class (CVN) means users can expect performance and quality in the X570M Pro Gaming microATX motherboard. The motherboard aesthetics is shaped around an Energy Core design with its cooling solution coloured in ‘space silver’ with a dash of red. In terms of cooling performance, there are large heatsink areas for efficient heat dissipation and steel reinforcing is included on the PCIe slots to increase strength.
