EKWB launch the EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 D-RGB water block

EK water blocks is back with another new D-RGB enabled product. The EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 D-RGB water block is specifically designed for the EVGA RTX FTW3 2080/2080 Ti series graphics cards based on the Nvidia Turing GPU.

The new EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 D-RGB water blocks utilise EK’s signature single slot slim design and cover the entire length on the EVGA FTW3 PCB. The EK cooling solution transforms the FTW3 graphics cards into a sophisticated, minimalist looking piece of hardware while providing excellent thermal dissipation at the same time.

The EK-Quantum vector water block also includes a terminal block cover, designed to showcase the integrated addressable RGB lighting which can be viewed from either side. The new FTW3 water block directly cools critical areas, with liquid flowing directly over the GPU core, VRAM and MOSFETS. The EK-Vector features a new cooling engine that has a larger footprint compared to the previous generation, resulting in better heat transfer and overall thermal performance.

EK’s Vector series utilises an Open Split-Flow cooling system which has proved to be an excellent cooling solution for GPU water blocks. The design features a low hydraulic flow restriction, meaning the block can be used with weaker or low RPM pumps and still achieve maximum cooling performance. Flow distribution has been further optimised by the jet plane and structure geometry to provide optimal performance even in reversed water flow scenarios.

The base of the water block is constructed from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top portion is machined from and acrylic-like glass material or a durable POM acetal, depending on user preference. High-quality EPDM rubber O-ring ensures the water block is sealed from leakage with brass standoffs pre-installed to create a safe and simple installation process.

Addressable 3-pin 5V D-RGB LED lighting strips are integrated into the design of the EK-Quantum vector FTW3 water block which easily connect to motherboard RGB headers and is compatible with major motherboard sync software, including Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

EKWB has also launched new FTW3 RTX Backlpates manufactured from high-quality aluminium, to provide passive cooling to the rear of the card and addressable D-RGB upgrade kits for users of existing EK-Vector FTW3 RTX full-cover water blocks.

The EK-Vector FTW3 RTX 2080 series water blocks, upgrade kits and backplates are available to purchase now from the EK Webshop and authorised EK dealers throughout Europe. The water block is priced from €149.90, backplates start from €39.90 and the upgrade kits are available for €19.90.
