Akasa's latest case is for the customers who are trying to save valuable desk space. Recommended for use in business or education environments, the Akasa's Cypher MX3 is a thin mini-ITX case for compact PC builds.
The Cypher MX3 is an ultra-compact (less than 2L volume) case made with 0.8mm SGCC steel panels. Out of these panels, the one which covers the top and both sides, is ventilated for the necessary airflow. The front panel is made of “contemporary aluminium fascia panel with sleek, 3D textured design”.
On the same front panel, we have 2 front-facing USB 3.0 Type-A ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and two 3.5mm jacks, one for the microphone, and another for the speakers/headphones.
The case measures 208mm x 203mm x 45mm (WxDxH) and is VESA mount monitor compatible. It also supports a 2.5-inch drive and a 40mm fan with a maximum height of 10mm.
The case is designed to be used with an external power brick that plugs straight into the motherboard
