MSI has announced a new series of mid-tower PC cases, the MSI MAG Forge 100 range features mesh front panels, tempered glass side panels and a host of other features to offer a great foundation for many types of system builds.
The MSI Forge series takes its name from the process of shaping metal objects through heating and hammering. MSI claims the MAG Forge 100 series are made to look sturdy and robust by taking design cues from the smith anvils. The Forge 100 series has three configuration options for users to choose which design best suits their hardware needs.
The Forge 100R feature two 120mm ARGB LED fans pre-installed in the front with a single system fan in the rear. The Forge 100M has two regular 120mm RGB front fans with a single rear systems fan and the Forge 110M comes with three 120mm RGB LED front fans pre-installed, again with a single 120mm system fan in the rear.
In addition to the fan configurations, all three Forge 100 series cases feature 4mm tempered glass side panels, a full cover power supply shroud and allow control of the RGB fans via an LED switch button on the front I/O. Further enhancement of the RGB lighting in the MAG Forge 100 series cases can be personalized by MSI Mystic Light software and synchronised with a huge variety of hardware components.
Other features of the MSI MAG Forge 100 series includes support for motherboards up to ATX form factor, the included 6-way control board allows expansion of 5V 3-pin addressable RGB components and a mesh front panel provides optimal airflow to keep system temperature under control. The tempered glass side panel that provides a great view of the internal components is located on dowels, with four thumbscrew fasteners for simple installation and removal.
