Eizo launches two new frameless monitors, the EV2460 and the EV2360

The EV2460 and the EV2360 are the two latest additions to the EZIO's FlexScan lineup, the company's line of monitors aimed at business environments and for general-purpose usage. The FlexScan EV2360 is EIZO's smallest frameless model.

Both these monitors come in black or white colour palette and use EcoView technologies. These technologies, such as the EcoView Optimizer 2 and the Auto EcoView, are used for better power efficiency according to Guru3D.

While EcoView Optimizer 2 balances the brightness and gain based on the screen's content, Auto EcoView adjusts the brightness based on the physical environment, reducing eye fatigue. These two technologies together reduce the typical power consumption of these monitors to 10W for the EV2460 and 11W for the EV2360.

Succeeding the EV2450, EIZO FlexScan EV2460 is a 24-inch monitor with a frameless design carrying an IPS display with a 1920×1080 resolution and 60Hz of refresh rate. It has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m² typical brightness, 5ms of g2g response time, 178º/178º viewing angles, and an 8-bits (6 bits + FRC) panel with 10-bits LUT.

Thanks to its FlexStand, this monitor can tilt from 35º up to 5º down, swivel 344º, pivot 90º, and adjust its height by 140mm. For connectivity, there's 4x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, 1x USB 3.1 Type-B port, 1x HDMI port, 1x DisplayPort, 1x DVI-D port, 1x D-sub mini port, and a stereo mini jack. There are also 2x 1.0W built-in speakers.

The EZIO FlexScan EV2360 comes with a 23-inch IPS panel with a 1920×1200 resolution, a refresh rate of 60Hz, 8-bits (6 bits + FRC) of bit depth and a 10-bits LUT. It has the same 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m² typical brightness, 5ms of g2g response time, and 178º/178º viewing angles as the EV2460.

Just like the EV2460, it uses the FlexStand enabling the same pivot, swivel, tilt, and height adjustment capacities. Regarding connectivity, there's 2x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, 1x USB 3.1 Type-B port, 1x HDMI port, 1x DisplayPort, 1x D-sub mini port, and a stereo mini jack. This monitor has the same 2x 1.0W built-in speakers, as the EV2460.

These two monitors don't have flame retardants which should allow for better recyclability, and the packaging uses recyclable materials, as EIZO is doing its part for the United Nations Sustainable Goals (SDGs).

Pricing details were not shared and availability varies by country. Both monitors are covered by a five-year warranty and a six-month no bright pixel guarantee. For more information regarding the EZIO FlexScan EV2460 click HERE, and for the EZIO FlexScan EV2360 click HERE.
