In late 2017 and over 2018, Intel went on quite the hiring spree for its graphics division. Raja Koduri switched over from AMD to begin developing the Intel Xe discrete GPU architecture, while Chris Hook left AMD's marketing division to help Intel's GPU marketing. Now, there seems to have been somewhat of an exodus from Intel's marketing team, with three key members leaving.
Intel Graphics Marketing Chief, Chris Hook, confirmed on Twitter today that he has left Intel, following Heather Lennon and Jon Carvill, who previously held the positions of Senior Marketing Manager for Intel Graphics and VP of Marketing, Technology Leadership respectively.
Jon Carvill has since moved on to NUVIA, a new chip making startup. Heather Lennon and Chris Hook have not confirmed what they will be doing next though. In-fact, both of their Twitter profiles still list them as working at Intel, so it seems that this information may have made it out a little earlier than it was supposed to.
In the meantime, it looks like Darren McPhee, Intel's Director of Marketing for discrete graphics, is sticking around for now.

KitGuru Says: It is too soon to tell whether this is part of bigger changes behind the scenes at Intel, or if these three coincidentally found better job offers at roughly the same time. We might not know much more until after the Thanksgiving break is over in the US, so we may hear more next week.
