SilentiumPC launch the Fortis 3 RGB CPU tower cooler

Use of large lower air coolers seems to be becoming popular again with the PC enthusiast and modding community. European based manufacturer of PC cases and cooling products SilentiumPC has launched a new high-end CPU air cooler.

The SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB HE1425 is designed to upgrade the stock air cooler provided with processors, increasing the potential for overclocking while lowering CPU temperature. The design features five 6mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes that form the base plate contact surface, as well as aluminium nickel-plated fins to provide a uniform high-quality look.

The new tower cooler also includes the brand-new Stella HP RGB 140mm SE PWM fan featuring modern integrated RGB lighting while being more powerful at the same time. The Stella HP RGB fan offers a new rotor blade design with a total of nine rotor blades to improve airflow performance and lower noise levels. Due to its PWM support, the 140mm Stella HP RGB fan can operate with a speed range of 500 – 1400RPM, making it ideal for cooling processors with high TDP.

Thanks to its asymmetrical layout, the Fortis 3 RGB provides optimal compatibility with motherboards due to sufficient space being provided to clear tall RAM modules. An overall height of 158mm means the Fortis 3 RGB will fit most modern PC cases too. Additionally, the Fortis 3 features nine bright RGB LEDs arranged in a circular pattern in the fan hub. The RGB lighting includes a 4-pin connector and can be controlled by sync software from leading motherboard manufacturers.

A simple mounting system has been applied to the SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB which ensures maximum compatibility with current CPU socket types including Intel LGA 1151, 1150, 1155, 1156, LGA 2066, 2011-3, 2011, LGA 1366, LGA 775 as well as AMD Sockets AM4, AM3(+), AM2(+), FM2(+) and FM1.
