Microcode update coming soon for Asus X299 motherboards

Just a few days ago, intel announced it will be providing a microcode update in the BIOS of X299 motherboard to help improve overclocking capabilities of its new Core-X series processors and would be rolling out the new microcode very soon.

MSI was the first manufacturer to detail which motherboards from its X299 line-up would be getting the new BIOS update featuring the microcode update. Now Asus has outlined its X299 motherboards that will be upgraded to help improve overclocking the new Intel Core-X 10th generation high-end desktop processors.

However, Asus has been more specific with a comprehensive list outlining which motherboards will be updated and the date the updates will be available. Asus will be rolling out the updates in two waves starting from 13th December.
