With The Game Awards taking place later tonight, Xbox has announced a limited-time, 2 day sale on its Microsoft store, offering up to 85% off of AAA titles including some of 2019’s heaviest hitters such as Resident Evil 2, Mortal Kombat 11 and The Outer Worlds.
Some of nominated games includes A Plague Tale: Innocence. This action- adventure horror stealth title was developed by Asobo Studio, known best for having developed The Crew, ReCore, and are currently working on Microsoft Flight Simulator. A Plague Tale: Innocence has been nominated for ‘Best Narrative’ at the upcoming Game Awards, and can be had for £22.49 (50% off).
Devil May Cry 5 released earlier this year to a positive reception from fans and critics alike. The action hack and slash title is nominated for both ‘Best Score/Music’ and ‘Best Action Game’. Devil May Cry 5 Deluxe Edition is currently available for £17.48 (67% off).
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is one of Ubisoft’s biggest releases of the year. This multiplayer-focused open world shooter was received well by critics upon its release in March of this year. The game has been nominated in the ‘Best Multiplayer Game’ category, and can be purchased for £17.99 (70% off).
Mortal Kombat 11 was announced at last year’s Game Awards, and has become one of 2019’s best selling games. The fighter has since been nominated for ‘Best Fighting Game’ at the upcoming Game Awards, and is currently on sale for £27.49 (50% off).
Lastly, Resident Evil 2, the Remake of the 1998 classic has gone from strength to strength throughout 2019. Upon its release in January, the survival horror title became the highest rated Xbox One title for 2019. The game has since gone on to sell over 5 million copies, outperforming its 1998 counterpart. The title has been nominated in an abundance of categories: • Game of the Year • Best Game Direction • Best Audio Design • Best Action/Adventure Game. Resident Evil 2 is on sale for £14.84 (67% off).
