This is a big week for GOG as not only is the new GOG Galaxy 2.0 app in open beta, but the Winter Sale has also kicked off, bringing discounts bundles for loads of highly-rated, DRM-free games. To sweeten the deal, the GOG version of Wasteland 2 Director's Cut is also free to keep as long as you act fast.
The next time you log into GOG, you can claim a free copy of Wasteland 2 Director's Cut, the excellent crowd-funded tactical-RPG sequel. Now is a great time to grab this too, as Wasteland 3 is due out in May 2020.
As far as deals ago, there is a lot on offer. One of the highlights this year is the Ultimate RED Collection, which bundles together all games in The Witcher series and a pre-order for Cyberpunk 2077 for £69.77. The 2019 Indie Gems Bundle is also worth a look, containing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Dawn of Man, Deliver us the Moon, Foundation, Indivisible, Druidstone, Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock and more.
The Paradox Strategy Bundle is also on sale with five included games. You can build your own bundle, so you will get an additional 25% discount on the games you choose. Fan favourites like Surviving Mars, Stellaris and Age of Wonders: Planetfall are part of the sale.
There are over 2,500 deals in total, so if there is something specific you've been meaning to pick up, you should take a look between now and the 2nd of January, when the sale will come to an end.
KitGuru Says: The GOG Winter sale is looking very good so far. Currently GreedFall has my eye, although that game is only on sale until the 26th. Are any of you planning on picking anything up during the GOG sale this year?
