The RTX 40 GPUs have been in high demand, but the supply has not kept up with the market. One particular model that has been hit the hardest is the RTX 4060 Ti, with availability decreasing significantly in the first two weeks of April for both the 8GB and 16GB models.
According to members of the Board Channels forum, the distribution of RTX 4060 Ti GPUs has been reduced to a few dozen to 50 units per shipment in some areas. It's also worth noting that the low stock of RTX 4060 Ti GPUs is affecting all brands headquartered in Taiwan.
VideoCardz also corroborates the reports that the RTX 4060 Ti variants are limited in availability.
Despite being one of the most popular Nvidia GPUs this generation, some models of the RTX 4060 Ti were selling below MSRP at retail. It is unclear why Nvidia isn't producing as many units for the RTX 4060 Ti, but it could simply be a case of clearing stock to make way for newer models, although at this time, it would appear that board partners do not have information on new, upcoming GPUs.
