Control’s new expansion ‘The Foundation’ gets new trailer, releases next week

Control from Remedy Entertainment has been one of the highest rated games to release in the last year, but the journey isn’t over yet. In 2020, Remedy has two story expansions planned, bringing players back to The Oldest House once again to uncover new mysteries. The first expansion is called ‘The Foundation' and it releases very soon. 

The Foundation expansion was announced at The Game Awards back in December, alongside a second expansion called ‘AWE', which is scheduled to release later in the year. For those eager to dive back in, The Foundation expansion has a new trailer, which you can see below:

The Foundation will give players more insight into the history of The Oldest House, the constantly shifting building that the entire game takes place inside. If you thought you had a good idea of everything that the setting has to offer during the main campaign, then you can expect some new surprises as new areas come into play.

The Foundation expansion releases on the 26th of March for PC and PS4. Unfortunately, Xbox One owners will have to wait a bit longer, with the DLC pencilled in for June. The game's second story expansion is supposed to arrive in mid-2020, but no final date has been given just yet.
