Nintendo Direct Mini sees new games, release dates and Smash Bros DLC announced

Over the last few months, there have been several leaks for upcoming Nintendo Switch games but until today, there was no Nintendo Direct announcing them all. Today, Nintendo rolled out a ‘Mini Direct', announcing Switch versions for a bunch of older games, the next DLC fighter for Smash Bros Ultimate and the release date for Xenoblade Chronicles Remastered.

First up, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is heading to the Nintendo Switch on May 29th, just as retail leaks indicated. Nintendo is also shadow dropping a brand new puzzle game today called ‘Good Job!', which is already on the Nintendo eShop. The next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter will be one of the characters from ARMS, although we don't know which one just yet.

EA is finally giving the Nintendo Switch a bit more attention with the announcement of Burnout Paradise Remastered. This re-release is already available on other platforms but the Switch version will arrive in 2020. We've already seen leaks for several 2K published titles on the Nintendo Switch this year but now, the collections are confirmed. Switch owners can look forward to XCOM 2, the BioShock Trilogy and Borderlands 1, 2 and the pre-sequel.

Last but not least, Catherine: Full Body is going to be releasing on the Nintendo Switch in July and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy/Star Wars Episode 1: Racer will land on the console this year too.
