Overclockers UK launch a Doom Eternal gaming PC

To celebrate the launch of DOOM Eternal, Overlockers UK has introduced a new pre-built gaming system with a demon-slaying theme design sculpted around the latest episode from the DOOM franchise.

It may not be the most powerful system ever, however, the new OcUK Ballista pre-built gaming system based on the AMD Ryzen platform with Radeon graphics should provide enough power for fans of the DOOM franchise to run the game with some great graphics fidelity and solid frame rates, while looking amazing at the same time.

Overlockers UK has equipped the Ballista system with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 six-core processor, combined with an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card, an ideal combination for consistent FPS at 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution. Using an AMD B450 motherboard platform means the system has potential for expansion with AMD offering a great range of CPUs in the Ryzen 3000 family.

The Ballista system also includes 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz memory, which is the sweet spot amount for gaming systems these days. All this high-performance hardware is packed inside a Kolink Void RGB chassis with built-in lighting of the infinity mirror font panel configured to synchronise with the B450 Gaming motherboard, giving the system a hellish appearance.

In terms of storage, the OcUK Ballista should provide enough space for a selection of games with its 250 GB SATA SSD, and 1TB HDD for those less critical games and applications. If you feel that the Ballista’s default CPU and graphics configuration doesn’t fulfil your needs, then OcUK will upgrade the system with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU and RX 5700 XT graphics to add some serious gaming power.

The DOOM Eternal inspired OcUK Ballista gaming system is available to purchase from Overlockers UK now, priced at £859.99.
