MSI adds two new MAX motherboards to its B450 series

MSI has introduced two new AMD B450 based motherboards to its B450 MAX series with the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WIFI and B450M Bazooka MAX WIFI added to the lineup. Both new B450 MAX motherboards support 3rd generation AMD Ryzen processors and offer more options to gamers looking for a cost-effective upgrade.

MSI’s Gaming Pro Carbon series now includes a B450 MAX motherboard that offers a stylish and affordable platform for gamers and enthusiast system builders to pair with a new AMD Ryzen 3000 processor. Built into the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WIFI motherboard is RGB lighting that can be configured and controlled via Mystic Light, so users can customise PC builds to suit their own unique style.

B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WIFI is equipped with USB 3.2 Gen2 connectivity, allowing up to 10Gbps transfer speeds, with two PCIe x16 slots for the installation of dual graphics cards. To keep VRM temperature under control, the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WIFI features an extended heatsink design and an M.2 shield to offer passive cooling to M.2 SSD drives for improving heat dissipation.

In addition to the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WIFI, MSI has also added a new B540 MAX motherboard to its MAG motherboard series. The B450M Bazooka MAX WIFI is the first MSI MAG micro-ATX motherboard to be equipped with built-in WIFI onboard. The motherboard also features Turbo M.2 and USB 3.2 Gen1 connectivity to enable a fast and reliable connection with gaming peripherals.

The B450M Bazooka MAX WIFI also includes RGB headers with two JRGB and two JRAINBOW connectors allowing gamers to customise their rigs with RGB lighting strips and accessories. A Built-in Audio Boost codec provides studio grade sound quality for an immersive gaming audio experience, whether it's via a speaker system or headphones.
