Biostar introduce a new dual-core SoC motherboard

Just last week, Biostar announced a new A10N-9630E quad-core Mini-ITX SoC motherboard designed to offer a small form factor for running basic office type tasks, the company has now added to its SoC motherboard series with the A68N-2100K that includes a built-in AMD E1-6010 Processor.

The mobile AMD E1-6010 processor integrated into the new Biostar A68N-2100K SoC motherboard is a dual-core, 1.35 GHz processor with AMD Radeon R2 graphics. Biostar has created the new A68N-2100K SoC motherboard with content consumers in mind, the company claim it is the best bang for buck SoC motherboard of its type and will be ideal for running basic tasks such as emails, word processing and internet browsing workloads.

Biostar has equipped the A68N-2100K SoC motherboard with two DIMM slots supporting cost-effective DDR3 memory allowing for high bandwidth at a lower operating voltage. The CPU is covered by a passive thermal solution for quiet operation and further reduces the cost of building a budget system with the A68N-2100K SoC motherboard since no additional cooling needs to be purchased separately.

Onboard features of the A68N-2100K SoC motherboard also include SATA III 6 Gbps connectivity, an HDMI 2K4K port to display images on a wide range of devices, as well as USB 3.2 Gen 1 support to connect high-speed USB devices with up to 5 Gbps transfer speed, while being backwards compatible with existing USB devices.

In terms of I/O connectivity, the Biostar A68N-2100K SoC motherboard includes PS/2 Mouse and PS/2 Keyboard ports, 1x VGA Port, 1x HDMI Port, 1x GbE Network Port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Ports, 2x USB 2.0 Ports and 3.5mm audio Jacks located on the rear panel.
