This week, ASUS is expanding its ROG desktop PC lineup with the brand new ROG Strix GA35-G35DX. This system was previously teased back at CES in January but now, it is ready for prime time, sporting up to a Ryzen 9 3950X processor and RTX 2080Ti graphics.
The ROG Strix GA35-G35DX was already partially uncovered during CES 2020 and it was made clear that the desktop is “engineered to sustain smooth gameplay under serious pressure”. Now a few months later, we have more details on the system, including system specifications and the different hardware options that will be available to buyers.

On the CPU side of things, ASUS is opting to go with AMD, offering the choice from a Ryzen 7 3700X all the way up to a Ryzen 9 3950X. On the GPU side, Nvidia's GeForce RTX series is featured, with options from an RTX 2060 all the way up to an RTX 2080Ti. The ROG Strix GA35-G35DX will also be equipped with up to 64GB DDR4-3200MHz memory.
In terms of specific features, ASUS has implemented a mode called ‘Stealth Power', which will keep fan noise down to a minimum even while playing more demanding titles. With this mode active, the system should manage to keep sound under 35dB.
