Stadia Pro will lose Metro Exodus and Thumper in April but new free games are confirmed

After having a rocky start to the year, Google has been updating Stadia on a much more regular basis, with new features, additional device support, new games and of course, new free games for Stadia Pro subscribers. With April coming up, it is time for another update to the Stadia Pro library of free titles.

At the moment, Stadia Pro subscribers get access to quite a few games, including Destiny 2: The Collection, GRID, GYLT, Metro Exodus, Steamworld Dig 2, Steamworld Quest and Thumper. As of March 31st, Thumper and Metro Exodus will unfortunately be leaving the Stadia Pro library but will still be available to purchase on the Stadia Store.

In April, three new games will be coming to the Stadia Pro library to replace the two titles leaving. These new games include Serious Sam Collection, Spitlings and Stacks on Stacks (on stacks).

At the moment, Google is also courting independent developers with a new Stadia Makers program, which was unveiled earlier this week.

KitGuru Says: It is a shame to see Metro Exodus leaving the line-up in particular but Serious Sam is usually good fun, as long as Stadia can deliver a smooth experience over the cloud. Do many of you currently have access to Stadia? What do you think of it so far?
