Call of Duty: Warzone reaches 50 million players after its first month

Season 3 has just started in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the game is more lively than it has ever been. According to a post made by the Call of Duty official Twitter account, Warzone has reached the 50 million player mark, one month after its release. It seems that Warzone is here to stay alongside the biggest names of the battle royale genre.

Starting with 6 million players after its first day, 15 million players after three days and 30 million players in ten days, the game has now reached a new milestone. When compared to its rival Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone had more players after its first three days. For comparison, Apex Legends reached 25 million players after the first week and had 50 million players in four weeks.

Although battle royale games have been launching like crazy in the last few years, not many have reached the success of these games. Although Fortnite's growth hasn't been as exponential as both Apex Legends and Warzone, it still is the most popular BR title, at least based on the number of Twitch viewers.
