Computex 2024: Montech unveils SKY 3, HyperFlow ARGB AIOs and new PSUs

For our second stop at Computex this week Leo swings by the Montech booth to get a look at the new Sky series cases and other hardware, including new coolers and power supplies. Naturally, we also stopped to gawk at some of the modded PC builds on display…

One of Montech's big announcements at Computex this week is its first AIO cooler with HyperFlow ARGB. These AIOs aim to stand out from the crowd with a 27mm thick radiator with 20 fins per inch, as well as 120mm Metal Pro 12 fans. HyperFlow ARGB is featured for bright and smooth colour transitions.

On the chassis front, the Montech Sky 3 is launching, designed for optimal GPU cooling and future hardware compatibility. Yes, it can fit an RTX 4090. It also supports Back-Connect motherboards, where cables are plugged in at the back of the board to avoid any cables showing in the front of the case. This chassis will be hitting the market in Q2 of the fiscal year, priced at $120 for the black version, or $125 for the white version.

If you want a more classic PC design, then the HS01 delivers exactly that with its standard tower design, large tempered glass side panel and ARGB lighting running around the edge of the case. If you want something smaller, the HS01 Mini looks great for a Mini-ITX build and even comes with a carrying handle for easy transport.

If you need maximum space, then the KING 95 Mega Pro is designed to accomodate the most over-the-top builds with tons of room for cooling, including 420mm liquid cooling radiators.

Montech has also teamed up with Seasonic for its latest power supplies. Seasonic sells its own PSUs, but the company is also a well-trusted OEM for others across the industry. The Montech Titan PLA has Seasonic DNA under the hood, but with tweaks to enable ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. These will be cheaper than Seasonic's equivelant Platinum-rated PSUs too, hitting the market at $159 for the 750W version, going up to $229 for the 1200W version.
