Nvidia’s RTX Voice helps suppress background noise

RTX Voice is a plugin from Nvidia that utilises Nvidia RTX GPUs and AI technology to keep background noise to a minimum. The plugin can be used when “working, playing, and creating content from home” and is capable of removing distracting background noise from broadcasts and voice chats.

Nvidia says that users of RTX Voice can “go live or attend a meeting remotely without worrying about finding a quiet place”. In short, the plugin is for those who want to be able to suppress loud background noises.

The GPU manufacturer says that it understands that many are trying to adjust to a “new normal”, with many homes becoming a “shared office, streaming studio, and gaming den all in one”. Nvidia says that it has been “silently working away on RTX Voice”, but that it's now ready for an early-access community beta.

Nvidia lists the requirements for RTX Voice as: “NVIDIA RTX GPU, Windows 10 and Driver 410.18 or newer”.

The instructions on how to install the plugin can be found HERE.
