Adata releases its first gaming laptop under the XPG brand

Adata is about to launch its first gaming system. Under the XPG brand, Adata has partnered with Intel to launch the XPG Xenia, a gaming laptop equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, a GeForce RTX or GTX GPU, and XPG's memory and SSD.

Featuring Intel's Core i7-9750H processor paired with 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666MHz, equipped with either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q or a GTX 1660Ti GPU, and a 1TB XPG SX8200 PRO SSD with read/write speeds of up 3500/3000MBps, the XPG Xenia has enough power for both gaming and content creation. Additionally, the 15.6-inch FullHD IPS display with narrow bezels (4.9mm) and 144Hz should offer a compelling gaming experience.

According to Joel Christensen, General Manager at Intel Systems Product Group, the XPG Xenia uses a lightweight magnesium alloy chassis. Measuring 356.4×233.6×20.5mm and weighing about 1.85Kg, the Xenia was designed to be portable, while still keeping some design flair. The battery is expected to last up to 10 hours, and the mechanical keyboard comes equipped with silent, optical switches with per-key RGB backlighting deliver “excellent responsiveness and durability”.

Connectivity options available include Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200, 1x Gigabit Ethernet port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, 1x Thunderbolt 3.0 port, and 1x HDMI port. Additionally, you can control the XPG Xenia through XPG Prime Control Center, allowing you to customise the keyboard's RGB lighting, configure the laptop components' power settings (CPU, GPU, fans), and monitor your hardware.

The XPG Xenia is available now in some regions (Taiwan, U.S and Mexico) for $1699 (GTX 1660Ti model) and $2199 (RTX 2070 Max-Q model). You can learn more about the XPG Xenia laptops HERE.
