Z490 motherboards are now up for pre-order

Last week, Intel announced its new 10th Gen Core desktop processors as well as the new Z490 motherboard chipset. We've already previewed a bunch of upcoming Z490 motherboards, but now, we can see what retail availability and pricing looks like in time for launch. 

Z490 motherboard listings went live earlier today, with plenty of options to choose from, ranging from the £150 price point all the way up to ultra high-end boards.

The cheapest Z490 Socket LGA 1200 motherboard available to pre-order at the moment at OCUK is the ASRock Phantom Gaming-ITX, coming in at £157.99. The ATX Phantom Gaming equivalent is £264.95, although the ASRock Z490 Extreme4 is a bit more palatable, sitting at £184.99. ASRock also has two higher-end Z490 motherboards, including the Z490 TaiChi at £369.95 and the Z490 Aqua at just shy of £1,000.

ASUS has an extensive range of options available already, starting with the ProoART Z490-Creator 10G at £369.95. The ROG Maximus XII Hero is £429.95, while the Maximus XII Formula is £499.99. At the top of the pile, you will find the ROG Maximus XII Extreme, at a costly £849.95.

Finally, Gigabyte's range begins with the Z490 Aorus Master at £389.99 and goes up to the Z490 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce, priced at £1,199.99.
