Logitech unveil the Zone Wired headset

Logitech has launched a new headset aimed at those who are working from home during the Coronavirus pandemic and need a reliable audio solution for video conferencing. A new wired version of the Logitech Zone headset is certified for applications such as Google Meet and Voice as well as Microsoft Teams.

The new Zone Wired Headset from Logitech is designed with all-day use in mind since it is equipped with a silicone head cushion and memory foam earpads for maximum comfort. Logitech’s Zone Wired headset features 40mm speaker drivers and a microphone with noise-cancelling technology to accurately suppress environmental background noise such as a loud keyboard or people talking nearby.

“With the Zone Wired headset's noise-cancellation features and dual-mic technology, you'll be able to take calls comfortably, without distraction, no matter who else is in your office, kitchen or living room,” said Martin Ruddle, Director of Personal Solutions, Logitech Video Collaboration division.

To quickly mute the microphone, Logitech has integrated a flip to mute feature into the microphone boom, as well as LED indicators on the controller that provides a visual confirmation that the function has been activated. Zoom mute controls are also integrated into the headset for an on-screen mute display via either the flip to mute feature or the in-line controls.

In addition, a Microsoft Teams version of the Logitech Zone headset is available that includes a Teams button on the in-line controller to provide easy, one-button launching of the Microsoft Teams app or to pick up and answer a Teams call.

The Logitech Zone Wired headset is available to purchase now directly from the Logitech website store priced at £119.
