Marvel Rivals begin sending out beta invites

Marvel Rivals is an upcoming Hero shooter in the vein of Overwatch, Paladins and other contemporaries. Ahead of its release at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future, the PvP shooter was promised to be getting a number of closed betas – the invites for which are going out right now.

Ahead of the Marvel Rivals closed beta test on the 23rd of July (which will run until the 5th of August), the team have taken to Twitter to say:

“The first wave of Steam qualifications has been sent! Players who have qualified can already pre-download the Closed Beta Test version of the game! Clean your keyboards, charge your controllers and warm up your fingers!”

The team also confirmed that console beta invites will be sent off soon, stating that “We're still in the process of sending out the console qualifications. Keep an eye on your inbox to see if you get an invitation!”

With the beta for PlayStation’s Concord recently concluding to less-than-stellar numbers, it will be interesting to see what the reception winds up being towards its upcoming contemporary Marvel Rivals.

KitGuru says: Are you excited for the beta? Which character do you think you’ll main? Did you sign up for the closed beta? Let us know down below.
