Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut will not be accessible for most of the day on release. The game launches tomorrow on Steam, bringing the game to PC for the first time, complete with the Iki Island expansion and the Legends multiplayer mode. As the game has been out for roughly four years already on consoles, one might have expected a local midnight launch for their time zone, but that won't be the case, as Sony has scheduled a worldwide launch time.
If you are in the UK or Europe and you plan on playing Ghost of Tsushima tomorrow, you'll have to wait quite a while. The game will not unlock at midnight in your local time zone. Here in the UK (BST), the game is set to unlock at 4PM, which will be 5PM in Central Europe. The US gets the better end of the stick here, with the game unlocking at 8AM on the west coast and 11AM on the east coast.
Fortunately, if you want to get the game downloaded ahead of time, you can now pre-install it on Steam. It is a 50GB download, so make sure you have some SSD space handy. Ghost of Tsushima officially launches on the 16th of May in most territories, while the release date slips into May 17th for the Australia and Japan time zones.
