Dying Light 2 Tower Raid open beta kicks off in August

Techland has been hard at work delivering new content updates for Dying Light 2, carrying on its tradition of lengthy post-game support. Soon, there will be a massive new multiplayer event added to the game – a raid. If you want to check out this new mode, then there will be a massive open beta starting in August.

Techland announced this week that the Dying Light 2 Tower Raid beta will be taking place on the 1st of August. This will be an open beta, so you can participate even if you don't own a copy of Dying Light 2. Those who do own the game already had a chance to try out the mode in closed beta earlier in July.

During the Tower Raid, players will climb floors of the tower to reach the rooftop, surviving hordes of zombies along the way. Successfully completing the raid will net you new gear that you can take with you can use in other parts of the game.

This additional testing will allow Techland to get its systems in check before launching the update officially. The beta is available to console and PC players alike.
