Back in May, the team at SuperGiantGames surprise-dropped the early access launch of Hades II. While undoubtedly a work-in-progress, many of the game’s core mechanics were available to enjoy. Finally, following a bout of silence, the team have released the first big update for Hades II.
Making the announcement, the team at SuperGiantGames officially unveiled ‘The Olympic Update’ saying:
“Our first Major Update is finally here, featuring an all-new Region to explore, a new weapon to master, more characters to meet, new decorations for the Crossroads, new Animal Familiars to bond with, new music and artwork, and much more! We hope you enjoy discovering it all. In the coming weeks, we will be looking closely at player feedback to ensure our latest changes are solid. Until then!”
The full list of changes can be found HERE, however, some of the most notable additions include what seems to be the completion of all the planned biomes; the final unlockable weapon; as well as a rework of pretty much every other weapon / moveset.
While Hades II is an Early Access game, the devs previously stated that they don’t plan to remain in this state for too long, with the full release hopefully arriving some time next year.
Hades II was already superior to the first game in many regards, and so all of these new additions and updates are exciting to see.
