Gigabyte launch a new mechanical gaming keyboard

Gigabyte has launched its latest foray into the gaming peripherals market, the Aorus K1 is the company’s new mechanical gaming keyboard equipped with a combination of high-quality switches, understated looks and RGB lighting of course.

The Aorus K1 mechanical keyboard is designed with gamers in mind as it features Cherry MX Red mechanical switches with RGB backlighting that can be configured or synchronised with other RGB Fusion 2.0 compatible devices and components, allowing customisation of lighting modes and effects to suit the users own personal style.

Other features of the Gigabyte Aorus K1 include full-range anti-ghosting with N-Key rollover – something we have come to expect from mechanical gaming keyboards, programmable keys with onboard memory to edit macros to any key via the Aorus engine application, as well as on the fly multimedia/backlight control and an adjustable cable for easy desk positioning to avoid cable interference.

Full range anti-ghosting allows gamers to stay in control of the battlefield with full speed key operation and no missed input signals during the intense competition, while the Cherry MX Red switches provide a reliable linear switching characteristic with 45cN operating force and 2mm travel actuation for accurate and fast capture of inputs from the user.

The high quality, German-made Cherry MX switches feature a service lifespan of 100 million actuations, making them the perfect choice for competitive hardcore gamers. The built-in RGB Fusion 2.0 illumination offers 16.7 million lighting colours and various lighting modes including individual key lighting to create a unique style.

Gigabyte is yet to announce availability and pricing of the Aorus K1 mechanical gaming keyboard.
