GeForce Now has had its fair share of ups and downs since its release in February. Now, Nvidia has updated its cloud streaming platform with DLSS 2.0 support – and as a bonus, the company has also added 21 new games to the library.
Deep Learning Super Sampling – or DLSS for short – is a technology developed by Nvidia that utilises machine learning and artificial intelligence to upscale low resolution images, with minimal loss in graphical fidelity compared to native resolution. The principal benefit should be reduced GPU load, increasing frame rates or – in this case – reduced server load.
With the announcement of DLSS 2.0 coming to GeForce Now, Nvidia has also stated Control will be the first game to get support for DLSS 2.0 on the platform, ‘with more games to come'.
DLSS 2.0 is now available on GeForce NOW, allowing us to increase graphics quality settings and maintain smooth, stutter-free frame rates with the power of AI & RTX GPUs. ?
