Today, Microsoft officially revealed first-look gameplay for a bunch of games coming to the Xbox Series X console. The episode of Inside Xbox began with the announcement that first-party games will be showcased in July, leaving today's show to focus entirely on third-party developers.
You can find each trailer shown today embedded below:
Bright Memory Infinite was the first game shown, coming from FYQD Studio in China. The game appears to incorporate a bit of everything, from action melee combat, shooting, driving and more. The footage is in-engine, delivering ‘expected quality' from the Xbox Series X, although it is not gameplay directly captured on the console.
We might not be seeing the next Forza today, but the racing gurus at Codemasters had something new to show off. Dirt 5 is coming to next-gen consoles, although no release date was shared, so it could be a while before we get our hands on it.
SCORN- an atmospheric horror adventure game (thanks Easy Allies). This might perhaps be the creepiest teaser trailer on the list. It doesn't appear to show gameplay, but it is certainly a gripping look at what's to come.
Chorus is a new space-flight combat shooter releasing in 2021. Become Nara and Forsaken, her sentient starfighter, on a compelling, personal journey of redemption
Another cinematic trailer with brief glimpses of gameplay interspersed throughout. It is our best look at Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 to date.
A top-down Cyberpunk-inspired shooter.
Coming in holiday 2020, The Medium is a next-gen psychological horror with a soundtrack from the same composer behind Silent Hill.
If you need some anime-fuelled action in your life, then Bandai Namco has you covered with Scarlet Nexus. As a Psionic warrior, you will join the OSF and fight back against ‘The Others'.
If you need more dinosaurs in your games, then Second Extinction is worth a look. It appears to be Turok-inspired, with plenty of guns and dinosaurs to point them at.
After a stint as a PlayStation exclusive, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is officially coming to Xbox Series X as part of the launch lineup. It is also coming to Xbox One and PC.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay was already announced as making an appearance. As expected, it was the big closer for today's episode of Inside Xbox, giving us an even better look at what to expect from Ubisoft's viking adventure. This will be a ‘Smart Delivery' supported game too, so if you buy it on Xbox One and then upgrade to the Series X later on, you will get the upgraded version without paying extra.

KitGuru Says: Bright Memory Infinite looked particularly impressive with what looked to be ray-traced lighting. What did you all think of the Xbox Series X games shown today?
