LucidSound launches the LS50X Wireless + Bluetooth gaming headset

LucidSound has announced that the LS50X Wireless + Bluetooth gaming headset is now available. Designed for “maximum comfort, noise isolation and audio quality”, the LS50X is fully compatible with Xbox One devices, and with the upcoming Xbox Series X.

With both Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity options, the LS50X can be paired with two devices at the same time. You can accept calls or listen to music on your smartphone while connected with Bluetooth and play Xbox One while connected through wireless. You can also connect the LS50X through Bluetooth to your PC for voice comms such as Discord and Teamspeak, while you are connected to Xbox One. There's a choice of five EQ modes to choose from, including Signature Sound, Bass Boost, Movie Mode, Music Mode, and Flat EQ.

The 20-hour battery life can be further extended if you're using the headset in Bluetooth mode. The dual-mics design offers “crystal clear” audio and supports background noise and echo cancellation. The detachable boom mic can be removed, enabling the integrated mic for mobile gaming, or if you just want to listen to some music or watch a movie.

At the back of one of the earcups, you will find volume controls and a button to accept incoming calls. Inside of each earcup, you will find a custom-designed 50mm driver with a frequency response of 20-20000Hz, and a characteristic SPL of 97dB (±3dB), the LS50X delivers the “signature LucidSound audio acoustics”. The earcups surrounding the drivers are made of breathable cloth liner, memory foam and cooling gel, and can be easily replaceable if you wish to swap in a new one.

The LucidSound LS50X is available now for $249.99 at the LucidSound webstore. You can learn more and buy this headset here. There's also a Snoop Dogg Limited Edition, priced at $299.99, available at the LucidSound's webstore.
