Xiaomi's Pocophone F1 – or Poco F1 as it's known in India – was widely praised upon its release for offering flagship specs in a budget phone. However, India was the the main market for the Pocophone it proved hard to come by in other countries. Now, the phone's successor – Poco F2 Pro – is set for a global launch on May 12.
Poco is a brand owned by the Chinese company Xiaomi, that has focused on producing phones for the Indian market. But that looks set to change after Poco's recent tweet unveiling the launch date for the new device. Navigating to Poco's website, the URL now contains the words “global” and “launch0512” – which ought to be somewhat of a clue.

It's previously been hinted that the Poco F2 Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro – which would mean that the phone would feature a 120Hz display. However, the best way to know for sure what is under the hood of the upcoming PCO F2 Pro is to wait for the official launch event on May 12.
