Antec introduces 7 Series Katana ARGB DDR4 memory kits

Antec has announced its new award-winning 7 Series Katana DDR4 memory kits with ARGB. Recipient of an iF Design Award in the Gaming Hardware/VR category, the design of these memory kits was inspired by the silhouette of the Japanese samurai sword, hence the name ‘Katana'.

The aluminium heatsink has a metallic black finish, with the ‘blade-shaped' ARGB lighting bar on top. You can synchronise the lighting bar with most RGB motherboard software, including Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

The Katana memory kits support XMP 2.0 to easily enhance their performance with compatible motherboards through the BIOS. Additionally, to ensure the reliability and quality of these memory kits, Antec prescreens “every single chip” with AIST (Antec IC Sorting Technology) and tests their compatibility on multiple motherboards for 8 hours.

There will be two Katana memory kits available for now: the first consists of 2x modules of 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM, with 16-18-18-38 timings, at 1.35V, while the second has 2x modules of 8GB DDR4-3600 RAM, with 18-20-20-44 timings, at 1.35V.

Pricing and availability details for the Antec Katana memory kits have not been shared yet, but Antec offers a lifetime warranty with these modules. You can learn more 7 Series DDR4 here.
