SilentiumPC launches Grandis 3 dual-tower CPU coolers

SilentiumPC has just added to its already extensive CPU cooler portfolio, with two new products belonging to the Grandis 3 series. The Grandis 3 and the Grandis 3 EVO ARGB both use a dual-tower design with two fans, and are capable of cooling up to 12-core CPUs thanks to the 250W TDP design.

The main difference between both coolers is that the Grandis 3 EVO ARGB features two high-pressure Pulsar HP ARGB fans (with included ARGB controller), while the standard Grandis uses a pair of Sigma HP fans. The Pulsar fans also sport a translucent finish to further amplify the ARGB effects.

The large-surface heatsinks have “several dozens of fins” and 3 heat pipes each, which are connected to the copper base. Of the two fans included, they're actually different sizes – the front fan is 120mm and the middle fan is 140mm. The 120mm fan spin up to 1600RPM±10%, and go as slow as 250RPM±10%, resulting in a maximum rated airflow of 46.5CFM. The 140mm fan speed ranges from 250RPM±10% to 1400RPM±10%, resulting in rated airflow of up to 78.6CFM. Both fans have an MTBF (mean time between failure) of 50,000 hours and use hydraulic bearings.

These coolers also come with the Pactum PT-2 thermal compound included. Both coolers measure 159×140×131mm (LxWxH) and weigh almost 1Kg. They are compatible with Intel LGA 1151/1150/1155/1156/1366/2066/2011(3) and AMD AM4/AM3(+)/AM2(+)/FM2(+)/FM1.

The SilentiumPC Grandis 3 CPU coolers are available now with a 2-year warranty, starting at €49 for the Grandis 3, and €55 for the Grandis 3 EVO ARGB. You can learn more about the Grandis 3 EVO ARGB HERE, and for the Grandis 3 click HERE.
