Cincoze recently revealed the GM-1000, a compact GPU computing platform that supports MXM GPUs. Cincoze claims it offers all the features required for “field applications in machine vision, image processing, and artificial intelligence.”
Cincoze's GM-1000 is based on the Intel Coffee Lake-R platform and supports 8th/9th generation workstation-grade processors with up to 8 cores, while it gets its ‘GPU computer' name from the fact that it supports a MXM 3.1 Type A/B expansion card. The computer supports dual DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM memory up to 64 GB while measuring just 260 mm x 200 mm x 85 mm.
The machine also supports an operating temperature ranging from -40°C – 70°C, making it ideal for those who want to use the computer in varying climates. The computer is also designed to be able to survive being dropped or hit, with a vibration/shock tolerance of 5G/50G.

In spite of being so small the compact computer weighs in at 4.6kg, as a result of being its extruded aluminum and “heavy duty metal” construction. The GM-1000 is also equipped with a multitude of ports, including 4x COM, 2x GbE LAN, 8x USB, 1x HDMI, and 1x DVI-I.
Brandon Chien, CEO of Cincoze, said “To fulfill booming demands of the embedded GPU market, Cincoze has introduced our first rugged GPU computer GM-1000 in our product portfolios. GM-1000 delivers efficiency and productivity for advanced industrial applications.”
