We've known details about this year's Call of Duty for some time now, including the fact that Treyarch took over its development at some point last year. Now thanks to new sources, we know that this year's game will be called ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War'.
The news comes via known Call of Duty leaker, ‘Okami' and was also verified by Eurogamer in an additional report published today.

Sledgehammer Games was originally leading this year's Call of Duty but the reigns were eventually handed over to Treyarch, shifting the game towards the Black Ops series. Fortunately, the Cold War setting lines up well with where Black Ops all began, as the series kicked off in the 1960s before moving on to a more futuristic setting in its sequels.
At the moment, Activision appears to be teasing this year's Call of Duty announcement with easter eggs in Warzone. An official unveiling should be taking place very soon.
