LG announces the 27QN880 monitor with advanced ergonomic features

LG has introduced a new 27-inch monitor that offers a wide variety of ergonomic features thanks to its flexible stand. Aimed at creative designers, photographers and videographers, the LG Ergo monitor offers “precise detail and color at a wide viewing angle”.

The Ergo concept from LG focuses on three core principles: image fidelity, ergonomic design, and cable management. These principles are designed to offer users “high performance, comfort and a cleaner desk setup”, creating a better work environment. With Ergo, LG claims that employees can also increase their productivity by adapting the display to fit different needs.

Featuring a QHD IPS panel with 5ms G2G response time, the LG Ergo monitor has 178º (R/L)/178º (U/D) viewing angles, 350 nits of typical brightness, covering up to 99% of the sRGB colour space. Additionally, it comes with features such as Maxx Audio, AMD FreeSync, HDR10, Black Stabilizer, Flicker Safe, Dynamic Action Sync, Dual Controller, and multiple colour and image modes.

The flexible ergonomic stand is mounted through a C-Clamp & grommet and allows the user to easily manage the cables coming from the monitor. The stand allows the monitor to tilt (-25º to 25º), swivel (-280º to 280º), pivot (-90º to 90º), while it is height adjustable (by 130mm) and it can even extend and retract by 180mm. The 27QN880 also offers VESA 100x100mm mounting support.

Connectivity options include 1x DisplayPort, 2x HDMI ports, 2x USB, 1x USB Type-C with up to 60W of power delivery and DP alt mode, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes equipped with a pair of 5W speakers.

The LG 27QN880 Ergo IPS monitor is available now for $450. You can learn more about it HERE.
