Patriot PXD 1TB External SSD Review

Rating: 8.0.

The new PXD drive from Patriot is a slimline external SSD that uses a USB 3.2 Type-C interface, a Phison PS5013-E13T controller and 3D TLC NAND. With a price of €189.99, or around £165 here in the UK, is this drive worth buying?

At launch the PXD comes in three capacities; 512GB, 1TB (the drive we are looking at here) and the flagship 2TB drive.
