Viper Gaming introduces 32GB memory modules to the Viper Steel DDR4 series

Viper Gaming has introduced 32GB UDIMM and SODIMM memory modules to the Viper Steel DDR4 series. With frequencies ranging from 3000MHz to 3600MHz for the UDIMM modules, and 2400MHz to 3000MHz for the SODIMM modules, the new Viper Steel memory kits support XMP 2.0 for “optimum performance” in laptops and desktops.

Roger Shinmoto, the vice president of Viper Gaming, said that the introduction of 32GB memory modules was the result of the feedback received “from PC gaming communities” asking the company to create 64GB memory kits. All Viper Steel memory kits and modules are tested to ensure their compatibility with the components listed in the QVL (qualified vendor list).

The UDIMM kits will come with either one or two modules, and offer speeds starting with DDR4 3000MHz with 16-18-18-36 timings, DDR4 3200MHz with the same 16-18-18-36 timings, and up to DDR4 3600MHz with 18-22-22-42 timings. All modules are set with a voltage of 1.35V.

The SO-DIMM memory will only be available as single modules, starting at 2400MHz and 15-15-15-35 timings, 2666MHz with 18-18-18-43 timings, and up to 3000MHz with 18-22-22-43 (XMP 1)/18-20-20-43 (XMP 2) timings.

The Viper Gaming Steel memory series featuring 32GB UDIMM and SODIMM modules are available now, ranging from $134.99 to $149.99 for a single module, and from $284.99 to $289.99 for two UDIMM modules. All modules and kits come with a lifetime warranty. You can learn more about the Viper Gaming Steel memory series and check the QVL lists HERE.
