Demon’s Souls remake screenshots released

From Software didn't just become a fan favourite developer over the last decade, the studio successfully managed to create its own genre, changing ‘action-RPGs' as we know them. This journey started off with Demon's Souls in 2009, utilising the PS3's now outdated hardware. Now in preparation for the PlayStation 5, the game is being completely remade, and we've got some excellent screenshots to showcase it.

The remake of Demon's Souls was announced during the PS5 reveal stream earlier this week. Bluepoint Games, who also did the incredible Shadow of the Colossus remake, is revamping From Software's first ‘Souls' release.

Above you will find not just the reveal trailer for the remake, but also a gallery of screenshots, so you can get a closer look at the graphics. Everything from textures to lighting has been enhanced, bringing Demon's Souls to the forefront of graphics technology.

The game will ship with two modes, one focused on maximising graphical fidelity and another that prioritises frame rates. Currently, we don't have a release date for Demon's Souls but hopefully we'll get more information on that later this year.

KitGuru Says: The PS5 is already drawing in interest thanks to a number of excellent exclusive game announcements. There is also a rumour that Bloodborne will get an enhanced PS5 release, so there could be more good news to come.
