Corsair has released its latest addition to the premium Dominator Platinum RGB family, with a new kit that uses white heatspreaders. Similar to the black versions, these memory modules feature the same RGB lighting system, consisting of 12 Capellix ARGB LEDs.
Besides the change to white heatspreaders, Corsair has also added multiple gold-coloured details (such as the screws and fins in-between the LEDs) and an RGB diffuser on the top to further enhance the aesthetic. The memory module's 10-layer PCB is black and uses Samsung B-die DDR4 RAM chips, just like the other Dominator Platinum RGB memory kits.
The Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB white series will be available in kits of two, four and eight modules. There will be multiple configurations available, including 2x8GB DDR4-3200 (CAS16), 4x8GB DDR4-3200 (CAS16), 4x16GB DDR4-3200 (CAS16), and 8x16GB DDR4-3600 (CAS16), and more. Corsair hasn't shared exactly what kits will be available, but assuming they are the same as the Dominator Platinum RGB black memory kits, the white memory kits will be available with speeds ranging from 3000MHz (CAS15) to 4800MHz (CL18).
Like most products from Corsair with RGB lighting, the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB white series is compatible with Corsair's iCUE software, allowing you to configure the RGB LEDs to your liking.
These memory kits are available now and should be similarly priced to the black memory kits. The memory is backed by a lifetime-warranty and Corsair's worldwide support. Based on the pricing of the black versions, these kits are expected to be available starting at around £100, and going all the way up to over £1700.
