MSI has announced its latest gaming headset, the Immerse GH30 V2. This updated model is equipped with 40mm Neodymium drivers and a foldable headband design.
The new headset from MSI is – as implied by the ‘V2' part of the name – the second version of the company's Immerse GH30 product. MSI claims the large 40mm drivers make it possible to get good audio performance across “high, medium and low frequencies”. Other key specs include a speaker sensitivity of 96 dB ± 3 dB, 32 Ω ± 15% impedance and a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz.

The ear cups are oval shaped and MSI says these are designed to “maintain comfort to your ears after hours of games”. These cushions are also removable, making it easy to swap them out or clean them.
However, the ear cups aren't the only things that are removable, the GH30 headset also sports a detachable microphone. The headset's 3.5mm audio jack makes it compatible with PC, laptop and mobile devices that have a 3.5mm port. Those who enjoy travelling will also be happy to hear that the GH30 V2 features a foldable design and comes with an included carry pouch.
Pricing and availability is yet to be announced, but based on the original GH30, we would expect pricing around £45.
