Gigabyte announces three new compact power supplies

Gigabyte has just announced three new “compact size” power supplies. These include the 80 Plus Bronze-certified P450B and P550B, as well as the 80 Plus Gold-certified P750GM featuring a modular design. All three models measure just 140mm long, which Gigabyte claims allows system builders to use them in “increasingly popular small chassis”.

With 750W output capacity, the P750GM comes with a 120mm Smart Hydraulic Bearing (HYB) fan, Japanese capacitors, and a 5-year warranty. This fully modular PSU has a wide set of protections including OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP, OCP, and OTP. The 80 Gold certification means that the power efficiency is over 90% when the PSU is at 50% load, resulting in less heat, power waste and noise from the fan. Additionally, the 120mm fan only starts spinning when the PSU load is over 20%. Gigabyte claims the PSU's MBTF is over 100,000 hours.

Measuring 150x140x86mm, this PSU comes with multiple black flat cables, including 1x ATX/MB 20+4 pin, 2x CPU/EPS 4+4 pin, 4x PCI-e 6+2 pin, 8x SATA, 3x 4-pin Peripheral, and 1x 4-pin floppy.

Both the P450B and the P550B deliver up to 450W and 550W of power, respectively. Featuring Bronze certification, these PSUs have over 85% power efficiency when at 50% load. Just like the P750GM, the P450B and the P550B come with a 120mm Smart Hydraulic Bearing (HYB) fan and the same protections for increased reliability, including OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP, OCP, and OTP. These PSUs also have the same MBTF has the P750GM, rated at over 100,000 hours.

The P450B and the P550B also measure 150x140x86mm. Both are non-modular designs and come with 1x ATX/MB 20+4 pin, 1x CPU/EPS 4+4 pin, 2x PCI-e 6+2 pin, 6x SATA, 3x 4 pin Peripheral, and 1x 4-pin floppy cables.

Pricing and availability for these PSUs has not yet been shared. You can learn more about the P450B HERE, the P550B HERE, and the P750GM HERE.
