FSP launches a new 420W PoE open frame power supply

FSP is expanding its portfolio of open frame power solutions with a new unit. The FSP420-2F47-A54H is a 420W PSU designed to be used in IoT applications, including PoE switches and NVR applications. The reduced dimensions of this power supply make it perfect to be used in tight spaces.

With the exponential growth of IoT applications, FSP claims the demand for increased performance from these devices is also on the rise. Taking this into consideration, FSP has designed a number of compact, open frame power solutions, with the latest being the FSP420-2F47-A54H.

This dual-output power supply has a maximum output of 420W, adopting a Class-I design with 12V/50W and 54V/370W output. Additionally, this power supply also features over-temperature protection and surge protection.

Measuring 190.5×101.6×36.6mm, FSP claims the FSP420-2F47-A54H has a couple of safety certifications pending:  IEC 62368-1 and UL 62368. This power supply is rated to operate at an altitude of 5000m, and at a temperature of 50ºC.

Pricing and availability was not disclosed. You can learn more about the FSP420-2F47-A54H power solution on this video.
