Genesis has announced a new ultralight gaming mouse, the Xenon 800. This RGB-enabled gaming mouse features an “ultralight construction, weight system, high fidelity sensor, and Japanese Omron switches.”
The Xenon 800 is equipped with a PMW3389 sensor that offers a resolution of up to 16,000 DPI, 50G acceleration and tracking speed up to 400 IPS. One of the main features of the mouse is its light weight, weighing in at just 58g in its lightest configuration. However, those who think 58g is too light need not worry. Genesis states that “the set includes a system of 12 weights, which allow the users to add around 20 g to the weight as well as properly distribute the mass.”

Xenon 800's OMRON switches are said to have a “lifetime of up to 20 million clicks, which guarantees the mouse’s durability for years”. The mouse also comes with the option to adjust key controls, like DPI, with profiles that can be saved to the Xenon 800's built-in memory – making it easier for users that use multiple machines.
Genesis says the Xenon 800 will be priced around 50 Euros, so we'd expect UK pricing about the £45 mark.
