iiyama is about to release a new 4K monitor for high-resolution lovers. The Prolite XU2792UHSU-B1 is similar to the company's Prolite XUB2792UHSU, with the main difference being the non-adjustable monitor stand. With the launch of the Prolite XU2792UHSU-B1, iiyama is adding its first 4K monitor to the company's XU series.
Using a 27-inch IPS panel with a 4K resolution and matte finish, the iiyama Prolite XU2792UHSU-B1 features a 75Hz refresh rate, 178°(H)/178°(V) viewing angles and 4ms G2G response time. The IPS panel supports up to 1.07 billion colours (8bit + Hi-FRC), 300 nits of brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, covering 100% of the sRGB colour gamut and 72% of the NTSC colour gamut.
Like most monitors for office and general use, the XU2792UHSU-B1 uses Flicker-Free technology and a low blue light mode to reduce eye fatigue and strain. It also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture for increased productivity, and multiple settings are accessible through the monitor's OSD to adjust colour, brightness, contrast, audio and more.
Available display inputs include 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort. There's also a 3.5mm audio jack, 2x 2W speakers, and a 2-port USB (3.0) hub. Additionally, the Prolite XU2792UHSU-B1 can tilt from -5º to 22º and supports VESA mounting (100×100).
Pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed. You can learn more about the iiyama Prolite XU2792UHSU-B1 HERE.
