Geoff Keighley will show off PS5 DualSense controller today

Sony has made a lot of ambitious claims about the DualSense controller since its announcement a couple of months ago. However, we have yet to see the controller in action or get hands-on feedback from any users. That will be changing later today, as Geoff Keighley will showing it off publicly for the first time.

This is all part of Keighley's Summer Game Fest, which is an idea that came around after E3 was cancelled for 2020. This stream will include hands-on impressions of the PS5 controller as well as an interview with Eric Lempel, head of marketing for PlayStation.

As we already know, the DualSense is a significant design shift for PlayStation, which has typically stuck to the classic DualShock gamepad style. It is larger and bulkier than previous PlayStation controllers but it also packs some interesting features, including adaptive triggers, improved haptic feedback and more.

The stream goes like at 12PM on the US East Coast, 9AM on the US West Coast, 5PM in the UK and 6PM in Europe.

KitGuru Says: This is going to be an interesting stream to watch. I'm particularly interested in how the DualSense's adaptive triggers work, although specific features like that may not be present without playing specific PS5 games. Will many of you be tuning into this one later today?
